Musicology offers private music instruction in guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, piano, drums, and voice as well as group lessons, band coaching, student performances, visiting instructors and summer music camp. Musicology instructors are all accomplished musicians with degrees in music and education.

Spring Block Party - We’ve all been there…You love them…You know that you want to come… It’s the first block party of the year!  Come join us on May 3rd from 4-7 PM. We’re going to cook burgers, play music, and enjoy some time outdoors.  If you are interested in playing please let us know. You can inform your teacher or let Kelly know so that we have a general idea.

Through the Years - Would you like to see, hear, and play vintage Martin guitars from the 1800’s to the 1960’s?  Here’s your chance!  Jody Butler will be bringing her collection of vintage Martins to Musicology.  We’ll talk about how the acoustic guitar has changed from the tiny parlor guitars of the 1860’s to the dreads of the 1940’s and today, and you’ll have the chance to play these vintage guitars as well.
