The camp consists of five days of instruction in Bluegrass style and technique in preparation for a final student performance to culminate the week. Through participation in Bluegrass Camp, students will develop a greater understanding of the stylistic elements of Bluegrass and gain valuable performance experience with the low-pressure atmosphere of performing as an ensemble. Bluegrass Camp is open to all ages. Violinists, banjoists, vocalists, bassists, and guitarists are especially encouraged to participate. Bluegrass Camp will be held July 16th through the 20th at Musicology, and the final performance will be held at Vinylyte Records on the square of downtown Newnan on July 21st.
