Brad Confer

Brad Confer is a music educator and guitarist with more than two decades of teaching and performing experience. A graduate of the University of Georgia (2001), he founded the Stage Academy of Music in 2007 and directed it until 2021. Brad has also taught at Woodward Academy (Busey campus), Southern Raised Learning, Music and Arts, and the Kedron Aquatic Center.

In addition to private lessons, he has led recording camps, songwriting camps, and band camps, and he helped create the Rock Friday program at Rising Starr. While guitar is his main focus, Brad also teaches beginning bass, drums, and vocals, encouraging students to explore music in a fun and social way.
