Jared Triggs
Jared is a native of Newnan, having graduated from Northgate High School in 2014. In 2019, he graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Instrumental Music Education. After a couple of years in the classroom, he found his place teaching private lessons full-time.

Jared performed for 5 years with Atlanta CV Drum and Bugle Corps, culminating in a national brass championship trophy, and for two more with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps where he was both a section leader and soloist. After marching, he returned and taught for both nationally decorated marching ensembles, instructing in both Visual and Brass.

Jared is thrilled to have started teaching at Musicology in 2025. When not teaching lessons, he plays trumpet for churches, bass guitar for Frog Patrol, and spends time at home with his wife, Cait.

He teaches Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Bass Guitar, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, EWI, Alto and Tenor Saxophone, Bb clarinet, and Bass Clarinet.
