I’ve been a violinist for 25 years and a violin teacher for 5 years! I hold BAs in Anthropology and Spanish from the University of Georgia (‘15) and played in the University Philharmonia Orchestra while there.

 

Though classically trained, I have years of experience playing other styles of solo and ensemble music for weddings and special events, along with 5 years of playing in a contemporary worship band. I also enjoy mentoring and guest-conducting for the Booth Middle School Orchestra and accompanying the Madras Middle School Chorus at Large Group Performance Evaluations and several holiday concerts!

I’ve been teaching violin at Musicology since October 2023, and I love watching my students build confidence while creating beautiful music of all genres. I am very grateful to count myself one among so many amazing instructors here!
